Dr. Barbara Eisen proudly graduated from the esteemed University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in veterinary science and a deep passion for animal care. In 1988, she took a significant step in her career by founding the Cream Ridge Animal Clinic, motivated by her observation of the unmet need for quality veterinary services for companion animals in a predominantly rural area.

 

At the Cream Ridge Animal Clinic, Dr. Eisen is devoted to cultivating an inviting and nurturing atmosphere that embodies the spirit of a community-based practice. She prioritizes creating meaningful relationships with both her clients and their pets, ensuring that every animal receives not only exceptional medical attention but also the compassion and respect they deserve. Dr. Eisen’s commitment to high-quality veterinary care reflects her belief that every pet is a cherished member of the family, deserving of personalized and attentive treatment.

Dr. Carrie Ruge, VMD, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine, where she gained a comprehensive foundation in veterinary science and animal care. From a young age, she developed a passion for animal health, frequently visiting Dr. Eisen with her own pets. This long-standing relationship inspired her to join the Cream Ridge Animal Clinic in 2022, where she aims to honor and continue Dr. Eisen's legacy of compassionate veterinary care for many years.

 

Prior to her journey in veterinary medicine, Dr. Ruge honed her skills and expertise at Penn Vet's Working Dog Center, where she specialized in training police and search-and-rescue dogs. This experience not only deepened her understanding of canine behavior and training but also ignited her commitment to working with high-functioning dogs.

 

Dr. Ruge's clinical interests are diverse and reflect her dedication to improving animal health. She has a particular focus on oncology, to help pets battling cancer. Additionally, she is passionate about geriatric medicine, ensuring that older pets receive the care and support they need to maintain their quality of life. Rehabilitation also plays a significant role in her practice, as she helps pets recover from injuries and surgeries. Furthermore, her background in working dog medicine allows her to cater to the unique needs of service and working dogs, ensuring they remain healthy and effective in their roles.

Dr. Wolf earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the prestigious Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has significant experience in shelter medicine, where she specialized in performing high-volume, high-quality spay and neuter surgeries to help control the pet population and promote animal welfare.

 

With a passion for improving the health and lives of animals, Dr. Wolf is particularly dedicated to surgical procedures, continually seeking opportunities to refine her skills and advance her knowledge in this vital area of veterinary medicine.
